About the event
Join us for our monthly swing dance! We're excited to host the Black Swan Classic Jazz Band for the first time.
The Black Swan Classic Jazz Band was established in early 1989 as a hot dance band dedicated to the preservation and performance of Dixieland, old-time gospel, early jazz and ragtime music. They have performed at numerous festivals and community events in Oregon, Montana, Arizona, Washington, Missouri, Iowa, California and British Columbia. When not on the road, the band's individual members call Oregon's lush Willamette Valley home.
Schedule:
7:00 - 8:00 PM: Beginner lesson
8:00 - 10:30 PM: Live music dance
Admission*: $15-20, sliding scale
*We will never turn anyone away for lack of funds- please join us and pay what you can (even if that is $0)*
Open to all ages. Individuals and partners welcome. Volunteer opportunities available.
