About the event
This 4-week lesson series will cover the Balboa basic, rhythm, partner connection, turns and more. The goal is to get you comfortable and having fun on the social dance floor.
Balboa is a partner dance that originated in Southern California in the 1930s. It is typically danced in a close embrace to faster swing music, and looks like this.
Schedule: (November 3, 10, 17, and 24)
7:30 - 8:30 pm: Beginning Balboa Lesson
8:30 - 9:30 pm: Practice/ Dancing to DJed music
Cost*: $40 in advance, $45 at the door
